Today the world is a very different place from what it was yesterday, and the change is not for the better.  Today’s event was the most significant historical event that has occurred during our lifetimes so far, and my feeling is that it will not be the most significant historical event in our entire lifetimes.  I hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
